MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THE DROUGHT

Only five percent of the Illinois corn crop is in good or excellent condition as of last weekend.

You can see that late in July, the poor and very poor rated crops grew while the good and excellent crops fell as a result of no rain. This will be a very tough year for Illinois corn farmers.
